Programmable Mud Initiative
Assistant | Massachusetts Institute of Technology | 2022“Programmable Mud is a research initiative focused on reducing the negative climate impact of new construction through additive design, low-carbon material innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across MIT and beyond.”
As a technical collaborator and assistant to Sandy Curth, I oversaw material development, executed robotic and SCARA 3D printing workflows, and contributed to the design and fabrication of a digitally printed earthen bench (shown at right).
The research, methodologies, and material investigations from this project became key drivers of my Master’s thesis, Terranaut.
