Forms in Conversation: A Continuing Exploration

In July 2023, during a two-week residency, I began exploring the methodology of hand-building ceramic sculptures, 3D scanning them using Polycam, and then 3D clay printing the scans.

I’m particularly interested in the dialogue that develops between an object that originates “from the hand” and the same object once it’s been digitally translated and fabricated.
